going green?

i have two questions on this. first if you turn off your computer but leave it plugged in will it still be like taking up energy. and second my famil.y is going green, so does anyone know wat the sight is called that has like al gores video and stuff and it has like tips on going green. and if anyone could me links to websites with tips on going green that would be great!!! thank you all god bless and go green!!!

  3. the computer’s big fat power converter thing (probably under the table, i have my feet resting on mine, its lovely and warm) will still take a bit of power even if the computer is turned off.

  4. Im not sure about the computer thing I would say if it is turned off its not using energy.

    Have you ever thought about the chemicals and toxins in your everyday household supplies?
