What’s something a group of teenagers can do for earth day?

i want to propose activites that a club at my school i’m in can participate in on earth day to help out. anywhere from about 5-20 students & a couple adults will probably participate. what can we do?

  1. You could offer to plant tree’s somewhere. You could go around and pick up trash.(i would our world is getting polluted!) && alot of stuff.

  2. Planting a tree or two is always good. Schools around here do that.

    Organize a recycling effort. Some places are terrible at recycling, such as where we have our winter home in the southwest.

    Organize an energy conservation period where the school turns off unnecessary lights.

    My friend’s daughter asked her family not to flush the toilets for the whole day on earth day. While her suggestion had good intentions (water conservation), I’d suggest that you avoid that particular one.

  4. clean the schoolyard,plant a tree,clean an area! and write your congressman and beg him or her to beg W, to sign the kioto treaty!!!!
